Location of St. Clare's

Temporary Worship Site

Like the early Christians, St. Clare's Episcopal Church started in a home - our pastor's home. But now we have moved out into the community! We meet at 10:00 a.m. each Sunday at "The Gathering Place" located at 118 South Main Street in the historic downtown district of Spring Hill, Kansas.

We will eventually purchase land and build a new church in which to worship, pray, serve others, and have fun together, but we have already begun the more important work - gathering together a community of disciples who want to share the joy they have found in their life with Jesus Christ.

We have found a temporary home in Spring Hill where we can gather to praise God and live lives of service to others, but we don't need to rent space, purchase a storefront or build a building to be followers of Jesus and begin making a difference in the world. From our homes, from grocery store cafes, from library meeting rooms, from bookstores and from wherever we meet our friends and neighbors in the community, we will:

  • Host “packing parties,” to fill backpacks through Harvester’s BackSnack program for elementary-aged students.
  • Meet for Bible studies and book discussions.
  • Offer Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University – a valuable class for people who want to take control of their personal finances in this time of economic hardship.
  • Gather for potlucks and other social gatherings.

We Invite You

If you are drawn to a church where giving thanks and praise to God and serving people in need are given first priority and permanent buildings are an important, but secondary consideration, we invite you to join us. Come join us as we are Gathered, Changed, Sent.
